Mike, a Northern California native and lifelong explorer of the Lost Sierra, is an expert fly-fishing guide with a deep passion for the outdoors. As a Stanford-trained educator and graduate of the Clearwater Guide School, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his clients. Mike is Orvis-endorsed with over 100 five-star reviews highlighting his excellence in guiding. Mike strives to make you a client for life while helping you hone your angling skills and serving all your fly-fishing needs. Mike is a permitted guide in the Plumas National Forest and will take you to hidden river gems like the Middle and North Forks of the Feather Rivers, Lake Davis, and Lake Berryessa for bass in the Central Valley. An avid outdoorsman, he has authored seven articles for California Fly Fisher magazine, solidifying his reputation in the fly-fishing community.
